Collectively driving positive change in the healthcare industry
Country Court was founded in 1983 by Abdul, his Wife and his Sister in Law, opening Beech Lodge Care Home in Holbeach. Abdul has overseen the management of Country Court ever since, guiding them through the development and expansion into the company they are today, while ensuring the company philosophy “Our family caring for yours” remains at the heart of every home. Today Abdul is responsible for the overall group strategy and management of the board, alongside his Son’s Alykhan and Al-Karim.
Joining the company in 2008, Al-Karim is a qualified Accountant, joining Country Court from Moore Stephens LLP. Alongside Alykhan, Al-Karim has been the driving force behind Country Court’s expansion, in particular responsible for identifying, appraising and leading acquisitions for the group and the funding strategy that sits alongside them. As Co-CEO, he manages the day to day running of the company, with particular focus on the Finance, HR, IT and Projects.
Having studied Law, Aly joined Country Court in 2006, helping formulate the company’s direction and growth strategy. He is passionate about bringing a vision to develop the aesthetically pleasing and stimulating environments that County Court Care Homes are known for. Aly looks after the day to day running of the company alongside his brother, operating across all aspects of the business with a particular focus on the care operations, hospitality and the group’s extensive care home development and capital expenditure program.
Lulu pursued her legal education at the University of Leicester and BPP Law School. Having trained at a national firm, she went onto qualify as a solicitor in 2020 with a particular focus on civil litigation. Her expertise extends to defendant occupational disease litigation and personal injury litigation, where as part of her training she held a role client side within a multinational insurance company. In 2021, Lulu made the pivotal move in joining Kibo Holdings to establish the Group’s legal department working closely with the CEO’s and Group Legal Counsel. Her role covers a broad spectrum of all legal and commercial matters for the diverse portfolio of the Group.
Having completed Law School as the top student in his cohort, Ishaak went on to train as a solicitor with a large regional practice. On qualification, Ishaak joined Freeths LLP, where he became an integral member of the Firm’s Commercial Real Estate Team. In his previous role, Ishaak acted as external counsel for the Group on a wide variety of transactions. He soon became a trusted adviser to our CEOs, and in early 2023 Ishaak was asked by them
to join the Group. Ishaak is now heavily involved in all legal, commercial and financial transactions that the Group carries out. He works closely with the CEOs and Senior Management Team to develop and deliver the Group’s commercial strategies.

After spendings 8 years as Executive Assistant to the CEO’s, George built a skillset that lent itself to a new role within the group. Whilst George still maintains the responsibility of receiving direction and corresponding on behalf of the groups CEO’s. He now independently identifies, evaluates, develops, and presents new investment opportunities. As well as actively driving the growth and profitability of the existing portfolio companies. George has a passion for relationship building and creating value through strategic partnerships.
